Sow thinly direct into a moist warm soil that's been finely raked.
Sow at a depth of 13mm in rows about 30cm apart.
Germination 13-20 days.

Grows well in an open position on light righ soil which has not been recently manured.
Carrot fly is attracted by thinning, so try to avoid thinning at all. If plants are overcrowded, carefully pull alternate roots when small and use whole.
